A Fun Recipe From The Food Network

There are many fun recipes to choose from on the Food Network. There is a recipe for "Cola Basted Ham" as an entree and there is a recipe for a "Healthy Breakfast Sandwich." The recipe that makes most mouths water is the recipe for "Homemade Peanut Butter Cups."

The ingredients for your Home Made Peanut Butter Cups are 8 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, one-half cup of creamy peanut butter, one-half cup of cream cheese, one tablespoon of sugar and one tablespoon of vanilla. Make sure you have foil or paper muffin cup liners to put in your muffin pan.

Break the chocolate into small pieces and put them into bowl. Set the bowl over a small pot of simmering water. When the chocolate is melted, paint the insides of the muffin cup liners. Put the cup liners in the pan for sturdiness and paint on a thick layer of chocolate. Then put them in the refrigerator to cool and harden.

Next, put the peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla into a food processor and puree until smooth. Spoon peanut butter mixture into the muffin cups with the hardened chocolate. Now, cover the tops with the rest of the melted chocolate. Put the muffin tin back into the refrigerator and let them cool until the chocolate on the top hardens.

This is the part where you need patience, as you wait for them to harden. Now would be a good time to whip up another batch for you can share with others. You know that the Home Made Peanut Butter Cups that are in the refrigerator now will not make it into anyone’s mouth but yours.
