Jack Pot Hamburger Meal
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3-1/2 to 4 cups tomatoes
1-1/2 cups water
1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 to 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1 6-ounce package broad egg noodles
Directions:
Brown beef, onion and green pepper in large skillet. Stir in remaining ingredients, except noodles. Sprinkle noodles over top. Cover tightly and bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat until noodles are tender, about 12 minutes. Remove cover and stir. Simmer for several minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Makes 4-6 servings.
Hamburger Casserole
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease 9 inch baking dish. Crumble 1 pound raw hamburger meat into baking dish. Add one minced onion. Place one 10-ounce package frozen peas over meat and onions. Add one can of cream of chicken or cream of celery soup. Place one box of frozen Tator Tots on top. Bake for one hour in 350-degree oven.
