I've never been much into sports since my real passion is cooking and baking, but I discovered the website of a real professional hockey player -- The Official Site of Don Brashear. Go check it out right away.
Check out the post on the history of the famous Washington Redskins (http://www.donbrashear.com/2008/12/16/washington-redskins-.html). It was interesting to note that the Washington Redskins were initiated as such in 1937 and were triumphant over the New York Giants their first time out on the field.
Over the years, the Washington Redskins have won 5 league championships, 12 Division championships, 5 conference championships, and 3 Super Bowl Championships. Do read all about it on Don's site.
