Food Network Recipes

Who needs a cookbook anymore? The Food Network offers so many recipes, from "down home" to chic chefs. Literally, if you put a laptop on the kitchen counter, your cookbooks can pack off to the attic or yard sale.

Well, what about all that handy information those cookbooks contain, such as substitute amounts, how to knead bread, how to make lattice pie tops? Forget about it. Bring up the Internet and search for anything you do not know. There it is, no paper required!

The Food Network website has over 20 topics for quick and easy meals, snacks, recipes, you name it. Back to school creations and healthy breakfasts are all there, ready for fixing. Maybe you should go grocery shopping soon!

Holiday and party recipes cover every category of food imaginable to put on your holiday or party tables. Probably you will find all those traditional recipes that have tested time, as well.

A Seasonal Recipe tab to match with your shopping menu planner is a click away. Geared towards the harvest season is the main ingredient. If you have a do-it-yourself cannery, the seasonal recipes and tips are helpful. Have you misplaced that old cookbook yet?

Click on the "Recipes on TV" tab to find recipes listed by famous cooks like Rachel, Paula, the Iron Chef, with the time they are being aired on TV. In addition, listed by name on their own tab are the chefs. What's not to like here? A "Show" tab brings the cooks to life for you. Do you want to know how to make $10 meals? The "Recipes and Cooking" section lists thousands of recipes and tips for everything imaginable.

Last but not least is Food Network's search tool for those wanting to cut to the chase for their topic. Enjoy!
