When a Cat Becomes More Than a Cat

Are there cats in your home? Are they just cats or are they a real part of the family? A recent blog (http://www.kittyvisits.com/2009/10/07/when-a-cat-becomes-more-than-a-cat.html) describes how her cat became more than a cat to her.
She writes that it had to be once we became adults and our cats were exclusively indoor cats. Their time spent with us dramatically increased; therefore, we paid more attention to them. We saw them at their every moment of cuteness. They rolled over, stretched, and looked lovingly at us. They sat in a bag, a box, a hat, a clothes hamper, etc. and were just so adorable! They were curious about everything, the string on a blanket, the book I was reading, my suitcase, and any new item in the house. They followed us upstairs, downstairs, to the bathroom, and into our hearts.
