It certainly would be nice to have a lawn large enough to decorate with a trellis. There's a special blog (http://www.superbgarden.com/2009/08/20/decorating-the-garden-with-trellises.html) giving wonderful ideas for decorating with trellises. The writer says that a lawn decorated with trellises can be a very lovely area.
As you plan your trellis displays, be selective as to the design since there are hundreds of different kinds of trellises. The old-time trellis is lovely enough for climbing roses.
